Dr. Huang is board certified in Gastroenterology. He has been a gastroenterologist serving the area for more than 8 years. He earned his medical degrees from the University of South China College of Medicine and Huazhong University of Science and Technology Tongji Medical School in China.  He later received his PhD in microbiology and immunology from the University of Michigan School of Medicine. Next, Dr. Huang completed his internal medicine residency at the Medical University of Ohio and gastroenterology fellowship training at the Washington University in St. Louis. After finishing his fellowship, he served as an assistant professor of internal medicine and gastroenterology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Austin and the University of Texas Southwestern Austin Programs.

Dr. Huang is pleased to provide care for those with a wide variety of GI problems with an additional focus on esophageal and gastric diseases, colon cancer screening, irritable bowel syndrome, and inflammatory bowel disease.

Dr. Huang welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.

Dr Huang has done two colonoscopies for me during the years. He explained in detail what he was going to do then explained each photo taken. A very nice person, and seems to me as very caring. I place absolute confidence in his evaluation.

Very friendly and warm. Dr. Huang explained everything in detail. They sent me home with a folder filled with information about my colonoscopy, which was very informative). I was instantly put at ease, the doctor was easy to understand, pleasant and he even personally called me to make sure I stopped a current medication, in order to start my new meds. This was above and beyond and it made me feel advocated for. I feel so much more at ease about my upcoming procedure.
